Dollar, Jr. was born and raised in College Park, Georgia. He obtained a Bachelor of Education degree with a concentration in History from West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia. He began his professional career as a high school teacher in the Fulton County School System. From there, he became an Educational Therapist for the Brawner Psychiatric Institute of Atlanta. In 1986, Pastor Creflo A. Dollar began the call which God had placed on his life, by starting World Changers Christian Center, a non-denominational church in College Park. Pastor Dollar began the ministry at a local elementary school with eight (8) people. The ministry was small, but aimed at developing a solid foundation for fulfilling of a larger vision. Today, he is also the president of World Changers Ministry, the global outreach of the church operations. He and his wife, Taffi pastor World Changers Church, with a congregation of over 20,000 people. They are internationally known authors, teachers and conference speakers with a ministry that reaches the local community and spans the globe. They are seen and heard throughout the world on the "Changing Your World" broadcasts, via television and radio. The Dollars also conduct conventions across the U.S. and around the world. Taffi is the vice president of the ministry, the president and CEO of Arrow Records and overseer of the Women’s Fellowship. A native of Atlanta, Taffi has bachelor’s degrees in Mental Health and Human Services from Georgia State University. Se accepted Jesus Christ as Lord in 1983 while attending a Bible Study led by Creflo on the campus of West Georgia College. She is an anointed vessel of God and ministers the Gospel throughout the country. Taffi firmly believes that the best way to raise successful children is to actively demonstrate the divine love and compassion of God found in His Word. Close Window
